Automation Test Engineer

Automation Test Engineer – Remote UK

With an exciting and impactful vision to “remove hackers’ easy options”, our team’s focus is to innovate intelligent automation systems that automatically find and fix vulnerabilities. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are now looking to enhance and expand our QA team with a high-performing test automation expert who will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the selection of automation testing tools
• Planning, establishing, and maintaining an automation test framework in conjunction with a continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline
• Writing and documenting automation test cases
• Upskilling our existing manual test team

The right person for the job MUST have:

• Professional Test Automation experience
• Experience in Python, Java, or other OOP programming languages, including experience scripting using Shell or PowerShell
• End to End-to-end testing using Selenium, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), using Gherkin with Cucumber, Lettuce, or Behave.
• Restful API Testing using Postman, Requests, or similar technologies
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
• Load, performance, and scalability testing for enterprise systems using JMeter or similar tools
• Experience in Jira, Git, Bamboo, Docker, VMWare and Hyper V, JSON, XML, SQL, Windows and Linux

Desirable:

• ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing Certifications
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Continuous Configuration/Infrastructure as Code (Bitbucket, Jenkins, AWS)
• Knowledge of networking (routers, switches, and firewalls)
• Knowledge and experience with Security Testing Techniques
• Knowledge and experience with Cyber Security
